Multi-strain
Our yeast cultures are cultivated to closely match the original. We source these cultures directly from farms on Norway's west coast. After harvesting, we thoroughly clean them to eliminate any bacteria. The yeast cultures are then produced into a multi-strain and dried."

Temperature tolerance
Kveiks tolerate high temperatures, which allows you to produce your beer with reduced need for cooling. This again reduced the overall need for electricity.

Environmental footprint
Kveik strains are well known to handle high levels of stress. In combination with a high cell count, Kveik strains can be under-pitched. Using our multi-strain Kveiks allows you to use 35 % less yeast per liter beer. This greatly reduces the environmental footprint of your beer.

Organic
as in the old days we are not adding any preservatives to our yeast, nor are we using any chemicals when they are produced. Clean, original yeasts!

Reduced need for raw materials
The combination of high temperature tolerance and robustness also allow for producing alcohol at higher yields.
